This is a 1949 ford pickup with huge potential to become a great looking hotrod. Most of the big work is already done. It has a big block 460 with D3VE-A2A heads. The previous owner said that they started it and it ran great (fueled from a gas can); but I haven’t started it since I have had it. It has an automatic transmission. I don't know if it's an overdrive or not and I can’t guarantee what shape it is in. The shifting linkage is in great shape. It has fiberglass running boards and rear fenders. The previous owner welded the front end together to make the tilt front end as you can see in the photos; but it can be improved. It has a Mustang 2 front suspension, disc brakes front rear, rack and pinion steering and a newer rear end. I started on the fuel system (new 10 gallon gas tank), and put new tires on it to move it more easily. The cab is in great shape. It is a titled vehicle. I have another project ahead of this one but when I saw this truck, I had to have it. But at this point, I don’t think I am going to get to it anytime soon.
