1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 2

Awesome driver’s car! It’s slowly appreciating so tell your significant other it’s an investment. Iconic silver and black. I planned to keep it but I recently got back into motorcycles and that takes up my motorsport time these days.

All maintenance up to date. Passed inspection and registered this month. Manual transmission. Each year, I update some of the parts that start to wear over time so it looks and drives as it should. I have an organized binder of maintenance items covering the past 15 years. I’ve owned it for 6 years. If I recall correctly, the guy I bought it from had owned it for over 10 years.

I’m a hobby detail guy so it’s kept very clean.

I don’t drive it very often. I try to drive it once a month so it doesn’t sit too long. It’s been maintained by RSR Motorsports and APEX Automotive. I’m a driving instructor and I had planned to take it to the track occasionally but it proved too difficult with my schedule.

I always warm it up carefully.

Gentle mods:

It has a very tiny oil leak that’s been hard to pin down. But it’s also 27 years old so I’ve been ok with it. Everything works. Tons of support in the market for this car. It’s a great platform to keep original or mod.
