Free supercar show lands at Woods Cross airport Saturday, June 14

When most of us think of runway models, we envision dramatic catwalk-style displays of fashion and accessories, surrounded by onlookers who “ooh” and “ahh” over the latest in design.
But on Saturday, June 14, 2025, Utahns will get the chance to admire some of the world’s most exotic automotive designs near a different kind of runway: the Skypark Airport in Woods Cross. Exotics at Skypark is your chance to get up close to supercars from brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini or McLaren. Best of all, your ticket is free.

Prepare for liftoff
Mark your calendars. Exotics at Skypark, slated for 6-9 p.m., will be an evolution of Utah’s largest supercar-only car show — one that has been growing in momentum over the past six years.
The 2024 Utah car event, held last April at City Hall, attracted over 130 supercars. The 2025 program promises to be equally riveting. It will once again be hosted by Need 2 Drive Utah, a car club formed in 2018 to bring unique automotive events to the Utah region, all for a good cause.
Thanks to this year’s generous sponsors, including KSL Cars, the supercar show is free for spectators. Sponsor and exhibitor contributions benefit Tabitha’s Way North, a non-profit food pantry in Pleasant Grove and Saratoga Springs that provides temporary food assistance to those in need.

Top-rank attendees
Automotive eye candy is guaranteed at Exotics at Skypark. Event cofounder and organizer Ismael Utrilla said that his team has curated a fine selection of both vehicles and aircraft. Included on that list will be a mind-blowing Koenigsegg Agera RS.
Why the Agera hypercar is special
The Swedish-built Agera RS was ultra-exclusive, being limited to just 25 units. It came with a 1,000-plus horsepower 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that could rocket the car from 0-60 mph in about 2.5 seconds.
Features included a sequential 7-speed transmission, an advanced suspension and an active rear spoiler. It was the world’s fastest production car when it launched in 2017 — capable of a top speed of nearly 280 mph. Holy smokes.
An airport is the perfect venue to showcase such a vehicle — it’s fast enough to take flight! Other standout cars in attendance will include a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport and a Ferrari F40.

Fun for the whole family
Utrilla is stoked that Exotics at Skypark is being held on Father’s Day weekend this year, as the event is geared toward the whole family. “In the past, this event has inspired both children and parents alike,” he said. A music DJ will be spinning tunes throughout the evening, and food trucks are scheduled to serve up a variety of tasty selections.
